Boucheron Perfume was a revelation on its launch as unlike many Oriental perfumes, the potency of the Oriental notes, such as Bergamot and Sandalwood, was subtly balanced with Orange and Apricot top notes and a background of cool green Galbanum. The heart of this enduring and alluring is a mixture of vanilla, amber, civet, benzoin and oilbanum, for a luxurious and melting veil of perfume, this is enhanced by the addition of amber and tonka bean as a simple but lasting seductive base.
